I am looking for the best wet/dry hair straightener I can get from walmart for 20-30 dollars? What do you guys recommend? Over a week ago I bought the Conair CS4JCS, and I just dont think it works that great. I have shorter hair, and it is curly. I usually use just gel and style my hair, but I'm sick of doing the same thing with it all the time. I like your hair curly :) looks good! haha but yeah I get the whole not wanting the same thing all the time, I have really thick and curly hair and I like having it straight too, I have had like a zillion different ones because they all break when I use them haha. I got one from Zellers, I went with a cheaper one instead of an exspensive one this time and it is conair, I can't remember what one exactly it is, but it is black with gold writing on it, I have had it for 6 months and still works. I straighten my hair all the time too, usually then only last me about a month. There is also another I got at Walmart that was my favorite but someone stole it =( It is white with some pinky-purple color on it. They both work great. I hope that helped! You can go to a beauty supply store and purchase a comb to go on the end of your blow dryer this is what we use on black or very tightly curled hair to make it dry real straight it costs about 5.00 dollars and the we use a chi silk infusion to lay the hair down even more after it is fully dry-ed and i do mean fully dry-ed on hi heat
20-30 dollars you can get CHI and GHD in this site,this two are the best hair straighteners , fit for all types of hair.

Mh sister gave me her GHD professional hairstyling iron, with advanced ceramic technology....it is by far the best one. A bit pricey, but in the long run it is worth it. Not sure of you can use it on wet hair as I'm not willing to try.
Personally i wouldnt go for wet to dry straightners as it cn damage your hair alot more than what normal straigtners do, its like ironing wet clothes

I dont' recommend a wet/ dry one. i have a hair art iron. it is similar to the chi only a little better and (not to nock a chi) but the only reason i say that is because it has a temp control on it. it gets up to 450 degrees but you can turn it down for your bangs and those little straggly pieces around your face. it is a professional iron and they normally sell for around 140.00 good luck

My solia flat iron does straighten damp hair but if you want your flat iron to last a long time you'll spend the extra 10 minutes and completely dry your hair.

I have got regular ghd straighteners and yes they're fab, but I am interested in the type that you can use on wet hair. The ones that seem to look best (from internet browsing) are from ';T3';.

Do not use a wet to dry straightener unless you want to have hay for hair. They damage your hair like no other, you can literally watch it fry. I used to use one when i was young and didn't know better and it left my hair a complete wreck. You do have to go over the same piece of hair about 3 times to get it dry also so it's not much of a time saver. Just go for a normal straightener, it will benefit you tons in the long run.
I have a wet to dry Remington one and all my friends have it and they all love it. Its only like $30 too. they do damage your hair but not as much as it would if you blowdryed it then straightened it. and you do have to go over it like around 2 times depending on how thin or thick your hair is. You can also use this one on dry hair and it has 30 heat settings and it automatically shuts off after one hour in case you accidentally leave it on. so it pretty nice

i have the Remington wet2straight. i never ever straighten it wet. uhh. you can straighte4n it when it is damp though. its desinged not 2 fry your hair. if you do use wet straightener, i recomend using some heat tamer so you dont damage or fry your hair off.
I have one that i use everyday, first off it is bad for your hair to use a straightener on wet hair, but if you use conditioner and take really good care of you hair normally i havent found it to be too bad, especially not any worse then dying it. When you start with wet hair your typically have to go through your hair a few times to get it really straight, if your hair is dry to start its so much quicker. Also if you have long or thick hair its much easier to pull your hair up in a clip and drop it down by layers to straighten seperatly. My wet/ dry straightener is from walmart it comes in two sized i have the smaller one and cost like 20 bucks and it works just fine!

i have the Remington wet2straight. i never ever straighten it wet. uhh. you can straighte4n it when it is damp though. its desinged not 2 fry your hair. if you do use wet straightener, i recomend using some heat tamer so you dont damage or fry your hair off.
I have one that i use everyday, first off it is bad for your hair to use a straightener on wet hair, but if you use conditioner and take really good care of you hair normally i havent found it to be too bad, especially not any worse then dying it. When you start with wet hair your typically have to go through your hair a few times to get it really straight, if your hair is dry to start its so much quicker. Also if you have long or thick hair its much easier to pull your hair up in a clip and drop it down by layers to straighten seperatly. My wet/ dry straightener is from walmart it comes in two sized i have the smaller one and cost like 20 bucks and it works just fine!

Well, I've heard they aren't good for your hair. I know it saves a little time but I think that in the long run you're better off spending a few more minutes drying your hair than damaging it.
well i have the kind of straightener that you are talking about and its bad to dry your hair when its wet. my hair is actually thiner when i starighten my hair when its wet after using it but now i dont use it when my hair is wet.
