I am looking for the best wet/dry hair straightener I can get from walmart for 20-30 dollars? What do you guys recommend? Over a week ago I bought the Conair CS4JCS, and I just dont think it works that great. I have shorter hair, and it is curly. I usually use just gel and style my hair, but I'm sick of doing the same thing with it all the time. Here is a pic of my hair after using the straightener I do have, http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e108/y鈥?/a>
And one if I dont use it.66.jpg...

What wet/dry straighterner would be the best to use on my hair since its not to long and not that short?Best wet/dry hair straightener for 20-30 dollars?
I like your hair curly :) looks good! haha but yeah I get the whole not wanting the same thing all the time, I have really thick and curly hair and I like having it straight too, I have had like a zillion different ones because they all break when I use them haha. I got one from Zellers, I went with a cheaper one instead of an exspensive one this time and it is conair, I can't remember what one exactly it is, but it is black with gold writing on it, I have had it for 6 months and still works. I straighten my hair all the time too, usually then only last me about a month. There is also another I got at Walmart that was my favorite but someone stole it =( It is white with some pinky-purple color on it. They both work great. I hope that helped! Sorry about not knowing the exact names =( oh and they were both like $30Best wet/dry hair straightener for 20-30 dollars?
You can go to a beauty supply store and purchase a comb to go on the end of your blow dryer this is what we use on black or very tightly curled hair to make it dry real straight it costs about 5.00 dollars and the we use a chi silk infusion to lay the hair down even more after it is fully dry-ed and i do mean fully dry-ed on hi heat
20-30 dollars you can get CHI and GHD in this site, this two are the best hair straighteners , fit for all types of hair.

Has anyone used the conair tourmeline wet-dry hair straightener/styler??
this thing looks like a miracle...anyone try it??
it's been on TV for about $55 bucks.Has anyone used the conair tourmeline wet-dry hair straightener/styler??
froget about it i got and dont waste ur money. it doesnt work at all. it leaves ur hair ahrd and stale. save ur money for a better one. conair products are the worst.Has anyone used the conair tourmeline wet-dry hair straightener/styler??
i have it, but dont use it on wet hair, my best friend did that, and after about 2 weeks her hair was fried!!
You mean the wet to dry hair straightner? I got it, but if your hair is wet you have to be really careful cause it causes the water to get on your hand and it hurts like no other. It doesnt completely straighten your hair either. I wouldn't get it.

Wet/dry hair straightener??
i need a new flat iron....what do you people think about a wet/dry one??
orr what are the best brands/styles? are more expenssive ones better? and which is better for you hair or gets better results: ceramic or gold? ThanksWet/dry hair straightener??
Vidal Sassoon, 2'; Wet to Dry Straightener VS155CWet/dry hair straightener??
conair has a great one available at kolh's
Mh sister gave me her GHD professional hairstyling iron, with advanced ceramic technology....it is by far the best one. A bit pricey, but in the long run it is worth it. Not sure of you can use it on wet hair as I'm not willing to try.
Personally i wouldnt go for wet to dry straightners as it cn damage your hair alot more than what normal straigtners do, its like ironing wet clothes
a chi works good but wet/dry ones work good to i have really curly/fuzzy hair and it helps alot
i prefer the ceramic
wet/dry straigtners dont really straighten your hair good. stick w/ a dry straightner
you should try a ciramic fat one
hey i just bought a wet/dry straightener it did work except when i straightened my wet hair it got frizzy and UGLY buy a ceramic one CHI is the best its about $180-$230 but better to buy a good one once than 5 at different times!
Wet 2 dry hair straighteners don't don't don't use them!!!!!!!
They will end up drying damaging and killing your hair, hair is super vulnerable while wet.
I don't think wet to dry ones are that good. I've tried a few, and they didn't get my hair really straight. But you can get one if you want.
Chi hair straighteners are the best, and you should get ceramic plates for the best results.
I just seen that amazon.com has the best brand ';Chi'; and it is an awesome flat iron. It is pricey but you can even wrap your hair around it and curl it.
I think that you should just spend the time blow drying your hair and then straighten, for me it always turns out best that way.
i know conairs is good but personally i think a dry one is better that way it wont damage your hair
i have a wet/dry straightener .. but i only use it after i get finished drying my hair. ive had it about a year and a half and it works really well.
they have it at walmart for like 30.00!
ps.
ceramic works better!
I dont' recommend a wet/ dry one. i have a hair art iron. it is similar to the chi only a little better and (not to nock a chi) but the only reason i say that is because it has a temp control on it. it gets up to 450 degrees but you can turn it down for your bangs and those little straggly pieces around your face. it is a professional iron and they normally sell for around 140.00 good luck
Ceramic, and you should never iron your hair when its wet. I have a GHD.
I bought my straightener in Europe and it's called Bellissima metec. It works really good and yes more expensive ones do work better. If you buy a ceramic straightener that goes up to 300 degrees make sure to buy oil or cream for your hair before you straighten! It's important for your hair not to dry out. Alos, be careful not to use your straightener EVERY day, you will end up with dead ends and really unhealthy hair. Hope this helps.
I have one its a T3. I heard on a daytime news show that Jennifer Aniston used it. It runs around $200. I know kinda pricey. However it works really well. I have really wavy/curly hair and it doesn't give that hump in the back of my head like blow drying would. Also a plus is that it took half the time to do my hair. I hope that helped you out a little. Check out sephora.com for other goodies.
wet/dry straighteners arent really that good. i suggest getting conair infinti. its really good and makes my hair perfectly straight and shiny. and its not as expensive as chi even though it may not work as well it works fine for me
wet/dry may seem like a great idea but I've had no luck with them.
They really pulled my hair and didn't straighten very well.
My solia flat iron does straighten damp hair but if you want your flat iron to last a long time you'll spend the extra 10 minutes and completely dry your hair.
www.folica.com go to solia flat irons and mine is the black one with the blue.
it comes in different size and is amazing! Used in really high end salons and many celebs actually have this iron! Very very impressive!
ceramic seems to work very well and really helps your hair so I'd stick to ceramic.
It's better to spend an extra $20-80 and get the good brand!
folica.com always has sales and mine is pretty cheap nowcompared to when I bought it....
ps: I had the conair one- waste of money!!!
and chi is expensive and from my own experience breaks very fast and the warranty sucks!

Ok.I have a curly/wavy a little frizz type hair, and i want to get my hair straightened for a long long time. My plan was to go to a Japanese salon and straighten my hair there, but then i found these: http://www.t3micro.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info%26amp;cPath=66%26amp;products_id=185
http://www.t3micro.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info%26amp;products_id=186
there pretty expensive, so i want some help here..if anyone ever used these, does the hair stay straight for the whole day in any condition, and..
should i get one of these or go get my hair done at a japanese salon?T3 Tourmaline wet-dry hair straighteners?
Sedu is much better than T3.

Have you used a wet/dry hair straightener?
I have got regular ghd straighteners and yes they're fab, but I am interested in the type that you can use on wet hair. The ones that seem to look best (from internet browsing) are from ';T3';.
Has anyone used wet/dry straighteners? Do you have to keep going over and over the same section of hair to get it dry (and straight)?
Do they damage your hair?
Which brand is best?
Any help appreciated, thanks so much.Have you used a wet/dry hair straightener?
Not worth it - just takes twicw as long. And I'm sure it's not good for your hair. I used some on holiday once and they took ages.Have you used a wet/dry hair straightener?
Do not use a wet to dry straightener unless you want to have hay for hair. They damage your hair like no other, you can literally watch it fry. I used to use one when i was young and didn't know better and it left my hair a complete wreck. You do have to go over the same piece of hair about 3 times to get it dry also so it's not much of a time saver. Just go for a normal straightener, it will benefit you tons in the long run.
I have a wet to dry Remington one and all my friends have it and they all love it. Its only like $30 too. they do damage your hair but not as much as it would if you blowdryed it then straightened it. and you do have to go over it like around 2 times depending on how thin or thick your hair is. You can also use this one on dry hair and it has 30 heat settings and it automatically shuts off after one hour in case you accidentally leave it on. so it pretty nice
i have used them, and personally, i don't like them at all. it fried my hair, after about a half a year of using it, and i have very fine asian hair, nothing before has been able to fry my hair. and i also used salon brand. you do have to keep going over the same spot over and over and over, i'd find it faster to blow dry and then straighten rather than use one. i'd always find myself late for events because i'd try to use it.
Wet/dry ones really take a lot longer, yes you have to go over the strand multiple times and it would be better to just blow dry your hair then straighten it. It seems to create more frizz and damages your hair. I talked to my stylist and she said that wet/dry straighteners are a bad joke, It almost takes longer using that method and the hair never looks as good as it does just using a regular good quality straightener on dry hair.
Wet/dry straighteners don't really work with WET hair.
They work better with slightly DAMP hair.
You do have to go over the same section a couple of times, but it does work if you accidentally didn't blow dry your hair all the way.
or when you're lazy to dry your hair all the way!
:)
DO NOT buy these!!!! anything that is that hot touching ur hair whilst its wet (even if it is designed for it) is gunna singe ur hair, stick to ghds :) im a hairdresser and most of the people i see with bad hair is caused by heat... also use a heat protection spray before you straighten x
normal ghds do work on wet hair, my friend sometimes does it
the down side is it makes your hair look and feel dry and hay like, so i really do not recomend it, it would be just as fast blowdrying your hair and then straightening it :)
xx
my friend has one not sure who makes it though but she loves it. however I'm not sure how good it is for your hair because using a hot iron on wet hair causes a lot of stress on the hair. If you decide to get one I would just recommend you to not use it all the time
I hate them. I think they make my hair look and feel stringy. I can't stand how the hair pops and fizzes while doing it. I just always felt like my hair looked damaged and fried, which it probably was!
